In 1947, Late S. Hari Singh Ji migrated from Sargodha, Pakistan to India during the partition. After settling in India, he began making home-based bakery products, which marked the early roots of what would later become a full-fledged business. His dedication to quality and taste laid the foundation for Bawa Bakery, which was officially established by S. Hari Singh Ji in Ludhiana in 1968.

Initially, the bakery started as a small venture focused on producing Rusk, with the help of a small team. Over time, under the leadership of his son, Late S. Gurbax Singh Ahuja, the business transformed into a professional bakery operation. Bawa Bakery expanded its product line to include Rusk, Namkeens, Biscuits, Snacks, Mathi, and Cakes, earning a reputation for high-quality and delicious products.

With over 56 years of experience, Bawa Bakery has grown into a trusted brand in the bakery industry across Ludhiana and Punjab.
